The troop had a memorable treck and campout at the Creek. We ended up not camping in any camp site and instead hicked 1/4 mile into the wilderness and camped on the creek's shore by the cypress knees. Everyone hiked their pack in and out and although the fire rules did not permit an open fire we still had a wood stove. The Scout Master who slept in a hammoc learned that mosquitoes can get him through the cloth but still had a good outing. In the middle of the night, the far shore of our camp was visited by several wild hogs but nobody heard them, except Marc, even though they were incredibly loud. The scouts went for an hour hike along the shores and saw a small gator and a large dead constrictor snake. We also found out that bacon fried in a jetboil is just as delicious as at home, more so.
